Peace of Mind Pet care strives to give the very best care possible for your pets! We realize that you can’t always be there for them so we want you to have a peace of mind while you are away! Whether you need overnight visits or daily visits we are here for you!
I have been pet sitting since early 2014 and decided to retire from driving a school bus after 9 years to pursue my love of animals! Peace of Mind Pet Care was established in October 2015! I have insurance through PSI and a member of Denton County Pet Sitters Association. I have 9 years experience in rescue and have personally fostered over 450 dogs! I have experience in taking care of the very young to the very old! Some of my medical qualifications include administrating sub q fluids as well as giving shots, and medications. I have experience with medical emergencies including bloat, internal bleeding, ruptured tumors and recognizing when an animal is in distress. I believe in positive reinforcement for the ones with issues and going slow with the timid and shy ones. I am also a RedRover Certified disaster responder. I am currently serving on the Advisory board for Legacy Humane Society. I am a big supporter of rescue and currently owned by 4 rescue doggies. Jack is my 12 year old basset hound, Dixie is my 5 year old bloodhound, Delta is my 4 year old bloodhound and my latest addition is Mudflap, who wormed his way into my heart, he is a basset/german shepherd mix who just turned 1! I also have one cat named Cassey who is 12 years old! My current fosters include Miss Beau, who is almost 15 and is in hospice care and Carbon who came to me as a feral in October 2014! I look forward to working with you and your pets!
